“When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life…” – Samuel Johnson
Our second day in London can only be described as pink perfection. Pink car, pink doors, pink houses, pink bakery, and I can’t even describe how happy matching everything all day made me. (although I made myself a very detailed pinterest board of what I was going to wear and what day I was going to wear it on- I had no idea I would coordinate with everything on Tuesday.)
Once Annie I finally stopped giggling deliriously Monday night (thanks for never letting us down Benadryl…) we got a great nights sleep. Other then waking up at 5 am with a migraine…
Travel Tip: Always make sure you bring any and all medication you think you could possibly need. You never know when you’re going to need it- I almost left my bottle of Excedrin Migraine at home and thank goodness I didn’t, because I don’t know what I would have done. After taking my Excedrin I did get back to sleep though!
Annie and I woke up refreshed and ready to take on the day (with the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack playing in the background). Bonus! We were ready early and had time to take flatlay photos of our goodie bags from Julie and to sneak out and take portraits of each other before officially starting the day with the rest of the girls!
We got breakfast at Paul before jumping on the tube and heading to Notting Hill. (side note: writing this is making me really really really want quiche.)
We took some time to walk the streets and photograph all the pretty doors and little details, before meeting up with Janna, Sarah, and Tommy for our styled engagement shoot.
That pink car though. I thought I had found my dream car when I bought Phoebe (my Kia Soul)- but I was wrong. THIS IS MY DREAM CAR.
Just a little preview from our styled shoot. You’ll get to see the rest of the shoot in the next blog post!
We didn’t have any fun at all that morning. 🙂
I think this is my favorite photo of me from the whole trip!
We walked around a bit more and popped into the Biscuiteers shop! How adorable are these cat cookies?! I knew I wouldn’t be able to get them home without crushing them- so I bought a cookie in the shape of the Queen and a small cat one! That afternoon we also took cabs to Chelsea and went to Peggy Porschen for tea and cupcakes! It’s a magical dream land of pink!!
Beautiful Sarah- Always photo ready!
After tea we picked up rental cars and headed out to the Cotswolds!
Aren’t Sarah and Tommy the cutest couple ever?! I love them both so much! Also the food in England is a lot different then in America- We stopped for dinner at a rest stop on our way out to the Cotswolds and the food in M&S looked a lot better them what you’d find in most rest stops tbh.
Well! That’s all for day two! Stay tuned for day three and our styled engagement shoot in Notting Hill!
xoxo,
Jacqueline
