With nearly a decade of experience in the wedding industry, I am grateful to work with wonderful couples who desire their moments to remain as elegant and timeless as the day they happened. I can’t think of anything more special than getting to photograph a family beginning with their engagement session all the way to little ones running through their home. I love being able to photograph life’s sweetest moments!
When I am not photographing my fun-loving couples and families, I spend my time with slow intentionality. Curled up with my pets, a cup of iced coffee (yes, iced only for me!) in my collectible Starbucks mug, and a new true crime documentary, I love a quiet evening at home. In between those intentional evenings and fast-paced wedding weekends, I love to immerse myself in a new town. I draw on these moments when I photograph my clients’ weddings. I can’t wait to chat with you about your vision for your wedding.
A hopeless romantic and lover of light, I find myself most inspired by travel and soft, glowing colors brought to life on film.
I love anything that involves going to the coast. I take frequent day trips to Charleston and I spend a month every summer in Massachusetts right off Cape Cod!
I am a classically trained pianist and I've been playing since I was 7. At one time it was my dream to become a concert pianist.
Buying too many Starbucks mugs. Watching Pride & Prejudice over and over again (the 6 hour version... of course!). And munching on Reese's cups while editing.
This is Coco, my little tuxedo cat! She showed up on our front porch back in 2018 and she's been my buddy ever since!
I'm probably strange... but I don't like fiction. Give me all the biographies, business books, and Brene Brown, please!
My love for England is in my blood- quite literally. My Grandmother was born in Bristol and British culture has always been a huge part of my family. It's the place where I am the absolute happiest and I travel back and forth as much as I can!
I think if you were to look up "Grand Millennial" in the dictionary... you'd find my name next to it. I adore antique stores, floral prints, and like any overachieving grand millennial- I even have a vintage-esque car!
the heart behind the photos
Life doesn't have
a rewind button...
If there’s one lesson I’ve learned from my photography journey, it’s how powerful photos are. A few years ago I found this quote that I think perfectly sums it up…
“We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.” - Katie Thurmes
Wedding days are a whirlwind and they go by in the blink of an eye. There are so many special moments, big and small, that happen on a wedding day, some of those moments you do not even see until you receive the photos.
That’s where I come in. I am a storyteller, here to capture every moment of your day, and to be your eyes on your wedding day so that in years to come you can sit down and look at your images; reliving the best day of your life over and over.
That’s one reason photography is SO important; because it’s the only thing that you get to keep once the wedding is over. The images that tell your love story, that you can keep, and pass on for generations to come.
