I’m not gonna lie- When I saw on the retreat itinerary that we’d have a shoot at the Tower Bridge, I knew I would end up crying. Sure enough. As soon as I turned the corner and saw the Bridge for the first time… I got very, very, very misty eyed.
I read somewhere once that “When one of our dreams come true, we start to believe all the rest of them can too”. This is the session I keeping coming back to going “I can’t believe this happened: That I went there and that I got to photograph that.”. I personally think it might be some of my best work. It makes me so excited to see where the next few years take me. I hope I get many more opportunities like this.
There were so many things I loved out this shoot: Our Model Ellie was the sweetest thing ever, who I hope I get the pleasure of photographing again one day. Jana Brown styled the shoot to perfection: the bouquet with that dress with Ellie’s beautiful smile and gorgeous red hair- Gah! Insert all the heart eye emojis!! And Julie, who brought all these incredible and talented ladies together and organized the retreat that made it all possible.
I can’t wait for you guys to see everything we did week, but for now you get to see one of my favorite shoots first.
