One of my favorite parts of my trip to New England was how many new friends I made while I was there. DeAngela and Jeff got married last year during the pandemic and one of my best friends, Micaela, photographed their wedding!! They found out soon after that they were expecting a little boy- and it just so happened that we ended up being in Newport, RI at the same time! They came in for a little babymoon and I was there to second shoot with another friend! I was so excited to do their maternity session and grateful that they were willing to work with my crazy schedule!! We all got up at 4:30 am so we could take these- but we couldn’t have asked for a prettier day!!
It was a little chilly when we parked at Second Beach, but it wasn’t long after DeAngela and Jeff had finished their tea and donuts on the beach, that the sun began to peek through the clouds and we got the most beautiful morning glow. It’s so different to shoot on the beaches in New England vs the beaches down here in the south. Both are beautiful, but when you’re used to miles and miles of low country cottages right on the water- it’s a little different to see mansions off in the distance and the beautiful rocky cliffs. But I loved it!!
Congratulations on your new little one, DeAngela and Jeff!! I’m so excited for you guys to meet him later this month!!
